African Caribbean Students’ Association  (ACSA)

A club formed to advance issues of importance to students of African and Caribbean descent, and to those who share a common interest. In an effort to accomplish its goals, the club plans variety of events ranging from social activities to  community outreach to educate both the Queen’s and Kingston communities about Afro-Caribbean cultural elements.

Afro-Caribe Community Foundation of Kingston

An organization that promotes academic, professional, and technical excellence among students of Afro-Carribean descent through its various scholarships at academic institutions, including the Robert Sutherland Memorial Bursary at Queen’s University.

An organization that strifes to support visible minority students, staff and faculty members at Queen’s University through its various programs and campaigns.

Kingston African Caribbean Collective (KACC)

The Kingston African and Caribbean Collective (KACC) was established in 2007 from a merger between Queen’s Black History Month committee formed in the early 1990’s and members of the Kingston Community. KACC is a not-for-profit organization that plans cultural events and various social activities during Black History Month for members of the African and Caribbean communities in greater Kingston throughout the year.
